Anlässlich der jährlichen Verleihung der IPE-Awards wurde die Pensionskasse der UBS zum besten Pension Fund in Switzerland erkoren. IPE scheibt dazu: “Switzerland's giant bankinggroup UBS runs a sophisticated hybrid dcfined contribution scheme that is defying the odds, reporting a strong funding level at the end of 2008 of almost 118%, despite the worldwide financial crisis severely affecting Investment markets. The scheme offers pensions income based on members' contributions, but guarantees cover irrespective of market conditions. Hence it runs an efficient Investment Programme to sustain defined benefit-type funding levels.”
